As 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of the release of the album Lucky Boy, “DJ Mehdi Forever” unveils its iconic varsity jacket, created in collaboration with SCHOTT NYC ®.

This jacket pays tribute to the memory of DJ Mehdi and to the “Classic varsity” look that became his signature style, most notably immortalized on the cover of his album Lucky Boy and in the music video for his track “I Am Somebody. ” The “DJ Mehdi Forever” jacket is available in two versions: the “Classic” version and the “Limited Edition” version.

• The “Classic” version honors the memory of DJ Mehdi and his signature look, featuring the “DJ Mehdi Forever” logos designed by the artist So-Me, embroidered on the front and back of the jacket.

• The “Limited Edition” version celebrates the unique bonds DJ Mehdi built within his two musical families of choice: hip-hop and electro. With one “hip-hop” sleeve and one “electro” sleeve displaying the logos of some of the artists Mehdi collaborated with, this jacket symbolizes the bridges he built between these two worlds and celebrates his invaluable contributions to contemporary pop culture.

The “Limited Edition” version will be available in a limited series of 360 pieces, while the “Classic” jacket will be available timelessly. As with all of the “DJ Mehdi Forever” merchandising, the revenue generated through the sale of this jacket will be dedicated to the work of maintaining the memory and artistic heritage of DJ Mehdi.
