Our actions

Eco-Socio-Design is an innovative approach that not only integrates eco-design principles to reduce environmental impact but also goes further by considering social and human aspects in product design.
Schott N.Y.C. is currently participating in a project to study and implement eco-socio-design in the fashion industry, and we will present the results in the coming months. Our goal is to enhance the understanding of our products, measure and reduce their environmental and social impacts.
By adopting this approach, we aim to contribute to a world where sustainability and social well-being are at the heart of innovation and progress.

Product traceability is at the core of our Green Schott program. It allows us to ensure the origin of our sourcing and monitor the compliance with social and environmental standards among our suppliers.
100% of our tanneries are traced and audited.
We have introduced a digital passport for each product, accessible via a QR code on the composition label. This passport provides visibility into the origin of the product. Our one-year goal is to extend traceability to all our products up to tier 3 and to inform you about their environmental footprint.

Relife is an initiative born of our desire to minimize the environmental impact associated with the manufacture of new products, by transforming our defective products into a new resource. We have given a second life to our defective products by recycling them into yarn: 4 tons of yarn are the result of this recycling, which was carried out in France.

Upcycling: promoting creativity and encouraging a more environmentally-friendly way of life. Our defective products that cannot be recycled or that have already had a first life are a source of wealth.

We see them as an opportunity to create something new and valuable. With our upcycling projects, we support artisans and designers who seek to transform reclaimed materials into unique and innovative products.

We invite you to join us in this exciting adventure towards a more sustainable and creative future.
