First appearing in the 1940s, this “delivery jacket” owes its name to truck drivers who appreciated its short cut and robustness during their long days on the road. It stops at the hips: a practical cut, designed to facilitate movement and deeply anchored in the world of utility clothing.
We have revisited this great classic by incorporating details faithful to its original spirit: a long zip front closure center, an open collar, pockets lined with topstitched piping and a chest pocket zipped with chain puller. Adjustment tabs placed on each side of the back allow you to adjust the fit.
Leather tells its own story. First made from “teacore” cowhide, then aged by hand, the SP540 presents from the beginning a natural patina which will gain even more depth over time. It already has the character of a jacket marked by miles, music and memories, even if its story has only just begun with you.
This model is inspired by a classic jacket with square pockets that appeared in the 1950s.
