Sage khaki N2B snorkel jacket with hood, oversized fit - SAGE KHAKI

The N2B was created by the U.S. Air Force in the 1950s for pilots and ground crews, using materials specially designed for the coldest regions of the world. At the time, the jacket had a wool lining and coyote fur around the collar. Its elongated, tube-shaped “snorkel” hood was designed to protect the face from wind and snow by creating a kind of tunnel. The civilian version omitted all the straps used to secure oxygen tubes. Today, the N2B remains an iconic style and a must-have in American military-inspired fashion, like the MA1 bomber jacket.
